Gives heavier body and big fruit flavors — think berries and wine — sometimes with a fermenty edge. Grown on small plots in the highland region of Arbegona, this naturally processed lot showcases the complexity that has come to define Ethiopia’s most celebrated coffees. At 2,200 metres above sea level, cooler conditions slow cherry maturation, allowing sugars to develop gradually before the fruit is dried whole.
