This course introduces the learner to the different methods of brewing coffee. The learner will receive theoretical and practical hands-on instruction for a range of devices, including automatic and manual gravity brewers, as well as other commonly used brewers within their local culture. Practical learning objectives and activities prepare the learner to produce a tasty brew based on an understanding of the essential brewing elements and an analysis of their brew results. Outline - Use brewing equipment properly - Follow standard brewing recipes - Understand extraction basics Course will run from 10:00 - 17:00 — Select time below and chose date from calendar. Certification: An online written exam tests theoretical knowledge based on course learning objectives. All SCA courses include the SCA certification, prices do not include SCA fee. Choose your preferred date and time from the calendar (Select Time below). Enter your name, email and SCA learner number in the form (if you don't have one, you can create an account here) Proceed with payment and, once booked, the Authorised SCA Trainer will officially enrol you into the SCA course; you will receive an email confirming this. The AST will contact you directly to confirm your enrolment and explain the next steps.
