This wonderfully bright and citric coffee comes from the Washing StationWashing stationA central mill where many smallholder farmers deliver cherry for processing. In Ethiopia, Kenya, and Rwanda the station name (e.g. Idido) often identifies the coffee. named Siko, located in Uraga, Guji. There are around 500 neighbouring smallholdersSmallholderA farmer growing coffee on a small family plot — often under two hectares. Most of the world's coffee is grown this way, typically pooled at cooperatives or washing stations. that provide cherry to the washing station throughout the harvest period, all located around 2100-2250 masl, perfect for producing exceptional coffees. The name Kelloo means ‘Yellow’ in Oromiffa language, this relates to the flavours of Tropical fruits, Florals and Stone fruits found in the final cup.
