Tanzania Idiwili PeaberryPeaberryA cherry that grows one round seed instead of the usual two flat-sided ones. Sorted and sold separately; some claim it cups brighter and more concentrated. Try this Peaberry for a fresh take on a Ladro favorite. Tanzania Idiwili Peaberry offers a vibrant, expressive cup shaped by careful farming and processing in the Mbeya region of southern Tanzania. Since major changes to Tanzania’s auction system in 2018, Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Societies (AMCOS) have continued to strengthen their farming and processing skills. These improvements shine through in the clarity and refinement of this coffee. This year’s profile balances light, grassy aromatics reminiscent of green tea with sugary sweetness and bright citrus notes. The result is a lively yet polished cup that rewards slower, more attentive brewing.
