Tasting notes
Our relationship with the Trujillo family began four years ago with a Pink BourbonBourbonOne of the two foundational arabica varieties (with Typica), named after Île Bourbon (Réunion). Sweet, balanced, caramel-leaning; parent of countless modern cultivars. from Carlos Trujillo, who has been in coffee for over 50 years. He's since passed the farm to his daughter Paola, who built Patio Bonito around three guiding principles: food security, soil stewardship, and exceptional coffee. Experience : passion fruit leads with lively sweetness, subtle lime zest carries through every sip adding lift and clarity, and a delicate hibiscus finish rounds it out with refreshing florals and sparkling acidityAcidityThe bright, lively, fruit-like sensation in coffee — praise, not a flaw. Citric sparkle, malic apple-crispness, tartaric wine notes; light roasts preserve more of it.. Bright, juicy, and incredibly vibrant—perfect for anyone craving a fruity cup.
