We’re excited to bring back our latest Maragogype - the legendary “big bean” varietyVariety (cultivar)The botanical subtype of the coffee plant — Gesha, Bourbon, SL28 — analogous to grape varieties in wine. A major driver of cup character alongside origin and process. known for both size and flavour. Rarely seen these days due to low yields, this standout lot was too good to pass up. Grown by Olman Valladarez on his family’s 60-year-old farm, where dense native forest and sustainable farming go hand in hand. Olman champions unique varieties and works to reduce chemical use, protecting local forests and water. Grown in sandy soil, mostly under shade - this is a true labour of love. Or as one Cloud Picker alum put it: “Big-ass beans.”
