The area where the cherries grow has some of the best components for cultivating coffee—high altitudes, a lush ecosystem, and volcanic soil. Small farmers – many have less than 200 trees – bring their carefully picked cherries to the Kanzu washing station where they are processed. Kanzu is meticulous in the care it takes to remove all the ripe fruit, ferment, and evenly dry the beans , which is showcased through its full-bodied, sweet and elegant cup. This is another great quality year for Kanzu; sweet and balanced with dark chocolate and hints of plum and orange.
