Our second release from Rayos del Sol — and our last single-originSingle originCoffee from one traceable place — a country at the loosest, a single farm or lot at the strictest — rather than a blend of sources. release from Peru until next season — showcases a carefully cultivated GeishaGesha (Geisha)A rare, jasmine-and-bergamot scented variety originally from Ethiopia's Gesha forest, made famous by Panama's Hacienda La Esmeralda. Routinely the most expensive coffee at auction. selection from Percy Pintado. Percy's farm, Rayos del Sol, is bordered by his family members who also produce coffee in Alto Ihuamaca, a small town nestled between two forest conservation areas in Peru’s northern highlands. This lot was grown on a portion of the farm dedicated to Geisha and, through the years, it has become a coffee we know and love for its sweet, complex flavors. In collaboration with our partners at Origin Coffee Lab, we have worked with Rayos del Sol since 2015.
