Character

Region: Kirinyaga, Central Kenya Notes: Blood Orange, Plum & Pear We are so excited to have our first Kenyan coffee. It comes to us from the Farmers Cooperative Society, well known for their high quality beans and meticulous picking and sorting practices. There are several farmers involved with an average of 250 trees each of the Batian, Ruiru 11, SL28, SL34 varietals. The cooperative was formed and the Kii factory and washing station gave these farmers the opportunity to process and export their coffees around the world. Kenyan coffees are known for their complex, bright, full-bodied notes and wine like acidity. This coffee is no exception with its notes of blood orange, plumb, and pear.
