A new coffee from one of our favorite producers in Costa Rica, Ivan Solis! As you probably can tell from the name of one of this – we were able to lock down the lot of this Red CatuaiCatuaíA Brazilian cross of Mundo Novo and Caturra: short, productive, storm-resistant. Sweet, mild, dependable — everywhere in Brazil and Central America. that won the COECup of Excellence (COE)A national competition and auction that identifies a country's best lots each year; winning 'COE' lots command dramatic price premiums. in Costa Rica! We are really excited to offer as both filter and espresso roastEspresso / omni roastAn 'espresso roast' is developed further for extraction under pressure; an 'omni roast' is profiled to work for both espresso and filter from one bag.! For this COE winning lot we tasted red licorice, cola and rock candy!
