The Single Coffee xPods has been carefully curated together with the The Coffee Folks SG team to provide fresh brews of the same high quality roasted coffees that we retail at our coffee bar. Each bag of xPod comes with a recipe for this coffee after multiple test brews and tastings on our coffee bar, with the aim of recreating a similar experience of this coffee in the comforts of their homes. Our new run of xbloom pods, and also the first in Singapore to have our very own pods design! This month, we have picked one of our best finds of the year - Colombia Juan Martin Red Striped BourbonBourbonOne of the two foundational arabica varieties (with Typica), named after Île Bourbon (Réunion). Sweet, balanced, caramel-leaning; parent of countless modern cultivars. washedWashed processThe fruit is removed from the seed before drying, usually with fermentation and a water rinse. Tends to give clean, transparent cups where origin character shows clearly.! Tasting NotesTasting notesThe flavors a roaster perceives in the cup — 'jasmine, apricot, black tea'.
