This washed processWashed processThe fruit is removed from the seed before drying, usually with fermentation and a water rinse. Tends to give clean, transparent cups where origin character shows clearly. lot is one of three Education Lot releases representing Passenger’s first time sharing coffees from Uganda. Released alongside our Nagasire ‘Culture Washed’ selection, this Education Lot offers the opportunity to explore both the unique history of Uganda as a producing country, as well as the impact of innovative processing approaches being explored there today. A balanced and approachable cup, we taste a subtle pome fruit character similar to red apple, as well as milk chocolate and toasted almond in the finish.
