Taking out 2nd place in the 2021 Cocarive Specialty Coffee Competition, this lot makes one unique and tasty brew. Fazenda Pedra Preta is the embodiment of a family business. When Antonio Fortes Bustamante purchased the farm, back in 2016, at the age of 84, he envisioned a thriving specialty coffee business. Just 5 short years later, and with the help of 3 generations of the Bustamante family, that's exactly what he has. Antonio's daughters, Claudia and Cristina, oversee the management of the farm, with help from his granddaughters, Amanda and Laura. Naturally processed, this coffee was patio dried for two days before being sectioned out, with half being dried mechanically and half on covered raised beds.
