Our relationship with Nahun Fernandez began all the way back in 2012. We were young and scrappy – only 3 years old, sourcing and roasting the best cof fees we could find, for our customers in Melbourne, Australia. Nahun was also young and scrappy – growing and processing the best coffees he could. That introduction, all those years ago , has led to a relationship that’s blossomed over the years. We’ve experienced a lot together – both good and bad – growth, new farms and family members , expanding to Portland and then Austin, new varieties and processing techniques, rebuilding after hurricanes and a pandemic. It hasn’t always been easy – the best things never are – but our commitment to buying as much of Nah u n’s coffee as possible , and his commitment to quality, have never wavered. It’s with that in mind, that we’re introducing a new Limited Edition Premium blendBlendCoffees from multiple origins roasted or mixed together for a consistent, balanced profile year-round — the traditional backbone of espresso menus. ; Pixi Dust. Composed of three different naturally processed coffees from Nahun – Pacas, CatuaiCatuaíA Brazilian cross of Mundo Novo and Caturra: short, productive, storm-resistant. Sweet, mild, dependable — everywhere in Brazil and Central America. , and a little GeishaGesha (Geisha)A rare, jasmine-and-bergamot scented variety originally from Ethiopia's Gesha forest, made famous by Panama's Hacienda La Esmeralda.
