Tasting notes

Mario Barrera has been working his CaturraCaturraA natural dwarf mutation of Bourbon found in Brazil: compact plants, easier picking, bright and clean cup. A workhorse across Latin America. and Bourbón farm for over 20 years. An experienced 4th generation farmer, he has been working with veteran farm manager and exporter Luis Pedro Zelaya, of the renowned Bella Vista mill in Antigua. This harvests lot is bright and floral, with a dense sweetness and notes of stone fruit. Bola de Oro lies just outside of Antigua, with a view of the Acatenango and Fuego volcanoes.
