Upon harvest, these producers bring their ripe cherries to the nearby Kiandu factory. While this factory utilizes many of the same equipment and techniques of other coffee mills in the area, the attention to detail – from both farmers and the mill itself – is what sets Kiandu apart as one of Kenya’s most recognizable and sought after coffees at auction. Due to its popularity, coffees from Kiandu mill can be hard to find. But this year we were able to fetch one of the top lots!
