We are excited to finally be exploring something we have always wanted to explore: separating lots not just by quality, but also by harvest pass. This coffee is from the last harvest pass at El Casino. In this exceptional Pink BourbonBourbonOne of the two foundational arabica varieties (with Typica), named after Île Bourbon (Réunion). Sweet, balanced, caramel-leaning; parent of countless modern cultivars. we find ripe red fruit, yellow tropical acidityAcidityThe bright, lively, fruit-like sensation in coffee — praise, not a flaw. Citric sparkle, malic apple-crispness, tartaric wine notes; light roasts preserve more of it., and a lovely complex finish.
