This is one of the few coffees we selected from northern Peru this season. It is also a rare opportunity for us to work with the CaturraCaturraA natural dwarf mutation of Bourbon found in Brazil: compact plants, easier picking, bright and clean cup. A workhorse across Latin America. varietyVariety (cultivar)The botanical subtype of the coffee plant — Gesha, Bourbon, SL28 — analogous to grape varieties in wine. A major driver of cup character alongside origin and process. again, which has played an important role in our sourcing from the very beginning. In the cup we find cherry, panela, and apple.
