This lot, rather than coming from an isolated hill as with the other Longmiles selections, comes from a range around the Bukeye washing stationWashing stationA central mill where many smallholder farmers deliver cherry for processing. In Ethiopia, Kenya, and Rwanda the station name (e.g. Idido) often identifies the coffee., and consists only of coffee from farmers participating in the Farmer Field Schools program. In the cup we taste a classic Burundi profile of black tea, purple fruits, and baking spice.
