We selected this coffee from a local Peruvian competition. This coffee was easily our favorite, and is a stunning example of GeshaGesha (Geisha)A rare, jasmine-and-bergamot scented variety originally from Ethiopia's Gesha forest, made famous by Panama's Hacienda La Esmeralda. Routinely the most expensive coffee at auction. being grown in northern Peru. In the cup we find intoxicating florals, ripe stone fruit, and subtle tropicals.
