This is our last Burundian selection of the season! It isn't easy to express how much we love the coffees from the Heza washing stationWashing stationA central mill where many smallholder farmers deliver cherry for processing. In Ethiopia, Kenya, and Rwanda the station name (e.g. Idido) often identifies the coffee., and this lot from Nkonge Hill is one of our favorites. In the cup we find the traditional red tea profile, along with ripe cherry, apricot, and mulling spices.
