The BRITA Purity C 1100 Cartridge is the largest-capacity filtration solution in the Purity C range, engineered for high-demand environments like cafés, beverage vending machines, and combi‑steam ovens. Featuring BRITA’s four-stage Systematic Filter Technology—pre-filtration, carbonate hardness reduction, activated-carbon treatment, and fine microfiltration—it effectively eliminates scale-forming minerals, chlorine, heavy metals, and fine particles, ensuring consistent flavor and machine protection . With IntelliBypass® and variable bypass head options (0–70 %), it adapts to local water hardness levels. At 10 °dH hardness, it can deliver approximately 11,500 litres at 40 % bypass , or 7,188 litres with 0 % bypass . Compact yet robust, the cartridge measures about 557 mm tall with a 184 mm diameter and weighs around 7.7 kg dry (~12.5 kg when wet) . It withstands operating pressures up to 8.6 bar and water temperatures between 4 °C and 30 °C, and it fits Purity C full systems with vertical, horizontal, or overhead installation options .
