The BRITA Purity C 500 Finest Cartridge is a premium filtration solution crafted for high-performance espresso and beverage systems, delivering uncompromised water quality and extraction consistency. With a fixed 0% bypass setting (meaning all incoming water is filtered), it creates an ideal mineral profile that enhances espresso aroma, flavour, and crema while protecting equipment from scale and gypsum buildup . At a carbonate hardness of 10 °dH, this cartridge offers approximately 3,414 litres of fully filtered water . Engineered using BRITA’s advanced four-stage Systematic Filter Technology—which includes pre-filtration, total hardness reduction, activated carbon treatment, and fine microfiltration—it removes chlorine, heavy metals, and fine particulates to deliver exceptional taste clarity and machine protection . It is designed for vertical installation in Purity C Quell ST vessels, weighs around 7 kg (dry) , and operates at pressures up to 8.6 bar within the temperature range of 4–30 °C . Installation is simple and hygienic, courtesy of BRITA’s rapid-change locking handle and built-in flush valve that support tool-free service with minimal downtime .
