With a fixed 0% bypass mode, 100% of feed water is filtered , delivering an ideal mineral profile that enhances espresso aroma, flavour, and crema while protecting your equipment from limescale and gypsum buildup . Engineered using BRITA’s four-stage Systematic Filter Technology—pre-filtration, total hardness reduction, activated carbon odour/taste removal, and fine microfiltration—it removes chlorine, hardness minerals, and fine particles to maximise beverage quality . Operating at a total hardness of 10 °dH, the cartridge delivers up to 8,150 litres of filtered water—and real-world capacity may exceed this depending on usage conditions . The robust cartridge weighs approximately 7 kg (dry), fits both vertical and horizontal Quell ST pressure vessels, and is fully recyclable via BRITA’s professional programme .
