It was grown in the country’s high-altitude regions (1,200 meters above sea level or higher) where volcanic soil & favorable climates produce a balanced & refreshing coffee with a sweet & creamy bodyBodyThe weight and texture of coffee in the mouth, from tea-like and delicate to syrupy and heavy. Driven by process, roast, variety, and brew method.. The higher altitude & lower temperatures ensures that the coffee fruit matures more slowly thus producing a denser bean. Quality control is key for the UCA. To ensure the best drying conditions & to avoid defects, farmer members bring their wet parchment to a central drying location, where it is carefully tended by Co-op experts.
