Operating under the Rutuma Farmers Cooperative Society (F.C.S) since 2005, Ruthagati has long been a pioneer in quality and sustainability, standing out early on as one of the first small-scale factories in Kenya to achieve the prestigious international UTZ Kapeh certification. Grown at optimal altitudes of 1650 to 1750 metres above sea level, the coffee benefits from ideal microclimates that slow cherry maturation and develop deep sweetness.
