We met José Luis through a chance encounter—not once, but twice. After he stopped by our café with a handful of samples, we unexpectedly crossed paths again just a week later while driving through Panama. Since that first tasting, José has relentlessly refined his work at Chevas Coffee Estates. In only a few years, the farm has emerged as one of Panama's most promising producers.
