This naturalNatural processThe whole cherry is dried with the fruit still on the seed. Gives heavier body and big fruit flavors — think berries and wine — sometimes with a fermenty edge. processed Reserve Lot comes from Bogalech Dukkale, a talented producer and mother of six from the renowned Guji region of Ethiopia. In past years, her coffees have been featured in popular community blends on Passenger’s menu, including Bookkisa and Shoondhisa. More recently, due to the quality and available volume of her coffee, Bogalech was selected by Ture Waji’s team at Sookoo Coffee for separation and export as a single-producer lot. We find mixed berry and floral aromatics on the nose of this coffee, followed by flavors of blackberry, orange zest, and sweet cream in the cup.
