Tends to give clean, transparent cups where origin character shows clearly., Patio, Solar Certification: Fair Trade & Organic Capucas Cocafcal Co-operative is located in the western part of Honduras. It is the one of the largest “certified” (certified organic and certified Fair Trade) co-operatives in the world. There are 840 growing farms listed in the co-op and the growing region is almost 3,500 hectares in the Santa Rosa de Copan region. Coffee has been grown in the Capucas region since 1885 and the co-op was created in 1999 to help the farmers work together to help with milling and coffee processing costs. Capucas Cocafcal Co-operative have made deliberate efforts to improve quality and processing techniques and is naturally grown and processed without chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
