Character
We are proud to present the coffees of Alejandra Chacón – the Chacóns have built up a small micro-mill for processing their coffees that they call El Angel. In addition to purchasing the aqua-pulper, the family has also built drying tables and a small bodega to store the coffee safely. Over the past several years, it has been very exciting to see the quantity and the quality of the Chacón family’s coffee improve in tandem – a measurable success for both producer and consumers like us. These Villalobos and CaturraCaturraA natural dwarf mutation of Bourbon found in Brazil: compact plants, easier picking, bright and clean cup. A workhorse across Latin America. cherries come from their El Aguacate farm, located outside San Pablo de León Cortés, in the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica at elevations around 1750 meters above sea level. A bright and vibrant coffee, El Aguacate has notes of cherry blossom, hibiscus, and lemon-lime. For the 10th harvest in a row, we are proud to present the coffees of Alejandra Chacón!
