I’m excited about this decaf. This coffee from Honduras boasts a balanced profile without much of that distinct decaf-y taste at all. The cup profile mends woodsy cocoa notes with a pleasant acidityAcidityThe bright, lively, fruit-like sensation in coffee — praise, not a flaw. Citric sparkle, malic apple-crispness, tartaric wine notes; light roasts preserve more of it. on the back end as it cools. In all honesty, I never go for decafs myself, but this bean has me way more inclined to grab that afternoon cup.
