Tasting notes
Our first coffee from José Peña continues our exploration of Urrao and the Chiroso varietyVariety (cultivar)The botanical subtype of the coffee plant — Gesha, Bourbon, SL28 — analogous to grape varieties in wine. A major driver of cup character alongside origin and process.. This region and variety continue to shift the conversation around quality and the diversity of flavor profiles within Colombian coffee, and we are excited to continue this exploration. In the cup we find yellow tropical fruit, candied strawberry, and hops.
