    Named after the iconic butte just west of Sisters, this blend was created by the founders of Sisters Coffee in 1989, the year of our founding. Crafted to be unique yet consistent, Black Butte Gold is composed of coffees from Brazil, Papua New Guinea, and Colombia blended together to create a rich and complex cup. Our roasts for Black Butte Gold pair perfectly with cream and sugar, but are equally delicious black. Black Butte Gold is a delicious brew that meets you anywhere you are on your journey. Foundational, Black Butte Gold has been with us since our beginning in 1989. In parallel with our story, Black Butte Gold has changed over the years while striving to always stay true to our roots. Coffees from Brazil, Papua New Guinea, and Colombia are roasting in ways that honor Joy and Winfield’s, Sisters Coffee’s founders, original intentions. Full bodied and with low acidity, chocolate tones pair perfectly with our dark roast just like it did back in 1989.
