Still in his 30s, Erwin Jr is not a rising star; he is in the full swing of producing the best coffee there is out there. He is involved in quality with all of the farms from the Mierisch family, but Las Delicias is one that is his very first own farm. Wingo is making this elegant, floral coffee shine more and open up more every year. The skill and expertise is evident in the delicate and bright profile of their Javas (as well as numerous times they've won Nicaragua's "Cup of ExcellenceCup of Excellence (COE)A national competition and auction that identifies a country's best lots each year; winning 'COE' lots command dramatic price premiums."), which gets more and more intense notes of citric and apricot every year. And with natural processing, as in this case, it has even more passion fruit and fudge. The Mierisch family are also very active in developing numerous social and environmental projects to improve the quality of life for the hundreds of workers they employ, local community and ecosystem. If any one producer could single handedly demonstrate just how significantly coffee can positively impact society it'd have to be them. Las Delicias Natural Java has a boozy aroma of sherry.
