Luis Joaquin Lovos (Joaquin) named Bella Aurora, or Beautiful Aurora, in honor of his mother. In a lovely stroke of serendipity, Aurora is also the middle name of our founder Mark Trujillo’s own grandmother. Using meticulous grow practices, Joaquin produces CaturraCaturraA natural dwarf mutation of Bourbon found in Brazil: compact plants, easier picking, bright and clean cup. A workhorse across Latin America. exclusively on his farm. We have partnered with Joaquin in sourcing this beautiful coffee for several years and will continue to do so.
