Character

Coffee Beans – MAZAA – Guji MAZAA is a specialty coffee that brings the true taste of Ethiopia right to your cup. Sourced directly from the Guji region in southern Ethiopia, this coffee is sustainably produced and expertly roasted in Denmark. It represents the perfect balance of origin, quality, and care. With a focus on direct trade, we ensure fairness for the farmers and transparency throughout the supply chain. Every bag of MAZAA supports social impact while delivering an exceptional coffee experience. This coffee stands out with its sweet, honeyed taste and spicy aroma. MAZAA is naturally processed, also known as sun-dried, which enhances its fruit-forward profile and unique complexity. After being hand-picked, the coffee cherries are dried on raised beds under the sun. This traditional method helps develop deeper sweetness and a full spectrum of flavors. The result is a coffee that’s smooth, juicy, and bursting with vibrant character. MAZAA comes from the lush, forested hills of Guji. This region is well known for producing some of the world’s most distinctive coffees. It lies near the famous coffee zones of Yirgacheffe and Sidama. The terrain is rugged and green, with rich volcanic soil and natural forest cover. Altitudes in this region range from 1,800 to 2,200 meters above sea level. These conditions help create a slower growing cycle, allowing the coffee cherries to mature with more depth and sweetness. The coffee grown here is from indigenous heirloom Arabica varieties. These are unique to Ethiopia and have evolved naturally over generations. They are known for producing complex and expressive flavor profiles. In MAZAA, you’ll taste a natural sweetness like honey, layered with hints of spice. The body is medium, the texture is smooth, and the finish is clean and satisfying. It's the kind of coffee that leaves a lasting impression. What makes MAZAA special is not only its flavor but also the way it’s made. Our farmers use traditional, low-impact methods to
