Origin Story As part of our first wave of single originSingle originCoffee from one traceable place — a country at the loosest, a single farm or lot at the strictest — rather than a blend of sources. releases from the Peru harvest, we are showcasing this coffee from Rayos del Sol. In collaboration with our Direct Trade partners at Origin Coffee Lab, we have worked with this farm since 2015 and have seen their quality evolve year after year. This coffee is produced by Percy Pintado of the Pintado family, whose farms neighbor each other in Alto Ihuamaca, a small town nestled between two forest conservation areas in the Cajamarca region of Peru’s northern highlands. Rayos del Sol has continued to offer sweet and elegant coffees, with this year’s selection being no exception.
