Single OriginSingle originCoffee from one traceable place — a country at the loosest, a single farm or lot at the strictest — rather than a blend of sources.: Brazil Micro-LotMicrolotA small, separately processed and traded parcel of coffee — often a single day's picking from one plot — kept apart because it's exceptional. Direct Trade Process: Anaerobic NaturalAnaerobic fermentationCherries or depulped seeds ferment in sealed, oxygen-free tanks. Produces intense, unusual flavors — cinnamon, bubblegum, boozy fruit — that divide opinion. Notes: Tropical fruit, berries, figs and sweetness of dates This anaerobic natural comes to us from producer Adriano Muniz and his family. The farm is located in Cabo Verde south of Minas and almost half the farm is native preservation area. They also are completely self sufficient providing all of their energy from solar panels and their water from twenty one springs. They make monthly donations to the local schools and day care centers mainly to supply student lunches.
