Final roast of this coffee for this season was done specially for Amsterdam Coffee Festival on 8.04.2026 An exceptional Kenyan coffee from Mutheru Factory, now available at MCR! Nestled on the slopes of the Aberdare Ranges, Mutheru Factory recieves its cherry from 500+ farmers that manage around 250 trees each, on average. With high altitudes and consistent practices, it delivers clean coffees with a unique Kenyan profile. Grown at a high altitude of 1700 masl, this blendBlendCoffees from multiple origins roasted or mixed together for a consistent, balanced profile year-round — the traditional backbone of espresso menus. of classic Kenyan varieties Ruiru 11, SL-28SL28A Kenyan variety selected in the 1930s by Scott Agricultural Laboratories, prized for intense blackcurrant acidity and deep sweetness. and SL-34SL34SL28's sibling selection, also from Kenya's Scott Labs. Slightly less celebrated but hardier, with a similar juicy, complex cup. stood out for its elegant profile of red currants, yellow plum and light caramel. Available for filter and espresso.
