One of the many ways Nate’s Coffee gives back to the community is through our Blue & White Charity BlendBlendCoffees from multiple origins roasted or mixed together for a consistent, balanced profile year-round — the traditional backbone of espresso menus.. This process provides exposure of twelve different organizations a year to the Nate’s Coffee community, as well as a fundraising opportunity. At least $1 from every pound sold goes to charity. Read about our Charity of the Month here. Roast: Medium to Dark Tasting notesTasting notesThe flavors a roaster perceives in the cup — 'jasmine, apricot, black tea'. Descriptive associations, not ingredients: nothing is added to the coffee.: Seeded berries, condensed milk Pair with: White chocolate, yogurt You can purchase the coffee in person at Nate’s Coffee Shop . What Grind Should I Use? You can have your Nate’s Coffee order ground to your preferred brewing method before shipping! Whole Bean: Whole bean coffee. Ideal if you prefer the freshest coffee experience and use a grinder at home. We recommend using a burr grinder . Coarse: A coarse, sea salt like grind. Great for french presses and percolators. Drip : A medium grind, consistency of sand. This is the most standard grind. Ideal for most drip coffee makers (like Mr. Coffee) and Clever brewers. Pour over: A medium-fine grind, in between drip and espresso grind. Great for pour overs and Chemex. Espresso: Little less fine than table salt, great for espresso. What if I use an Aeropress? Use this as your guide: Drip: 3 minute brew time Pour over: 2-3 minute brew time Espresso: (our preferred method) 1-2 minute brew time A medium-dark blend of Ethiopia and Latin American coffees, Nate’s Blue & White Charity Blend has notes of chocolate-covered berries.
