This selection of pink bourbonBourbonOne of the two foundational arabica varieties (with Typica), named after Île Bourbon (Réunion). Sweet, balanced, caramel-leaning; parent of countless modern cultivars. comes from producer Elmer Sarmiento of Huila, Colombia. Elmer’s farm, Nuevo Horizonte, sits at 2,000 meters of elevation in the community of Santa María. This coffee is bright and sweet with high clarity, reminding us of raspberry, cherry, pink lady apple, lemonade, brown sugar, and caramel. This was the standout cup from our most recent visit to Huila and we're finding it to be an exceptional filter coffee.
