Character
Finca Santa Elisa Pachup lies on the slopes of Acatenango, one of the three famous volcanoes that surround Antigua Guatemala. Owing to the near-constant activity of the neighboring Volcán de Fuego, the farm is frequently dusted with layers of mineral-rich volcanic ash. This lot, processed under the care of our friends at Los Volcanes, was our favorite among the dozens we tasted in Guatemala this harvest. With elegant clarity and sweetness we found notes of blood orange, tangerine, brown sugar, caramel, sugar cookie, and subtle florals.
