THE QUINTESSENTIAL GEISHA Bambito Estate has been in Alberto Sittón’s family since the early 1900s. Alberto acquired the farm from his father in 1945 and today Bambito is in its fifth generation. The estate is located at 1,660 and 1,800 meters above sea level, high in the clouds of Volcan Baru. It’s nestled between two national forest parks and crossed by two mountain ridges from east to west which creates two distinct microclimates for growing coffee, and also protects their coffee from the strong summer winds.
