We're excited to be the very first buyer of Kent and Kristopher! Please note: There are only 27 bags available. Kent and Kristopher were born into a coffee family helping on their own family farm as well as the farm of their uncle, Wilford Lamastus — one of the best specialty coffee producers in Panama. This year, Kent and Kristopher have endeavoured to begin processing their own specialty coffee on their family farm. We are very honoured to get to be a part of their journey from the start, and we are looking forward to many more fantastic coffees in the years to come. This GeishaGesha (Geisha)A rare, jasmine-and-bergamot scented variety originally from Ethiopia's Gesha forest, made famous by Panama's Hacienda La Esmeralda. Routinely the most expensive coffee at auction. NaturalNatural processThe whole cherry is dried with the fruit still on the seed. Gives heavier body and big fruit flavors — think berries and wine — sometimes with a fermenty edge. Lot 06 is an AnaerobicAnaerobic fermentationCherries or depulped seeds ferment in sealed, oxygen-free tanks. Produces intense, unusual flavors — cinnamon, bubblegum, boozy fruit — that divide opinion. Slow Dry process. It was fermented for 72 hours in GrainPro bags underwater to maintain a stable 15–20ºC temperature and then sun-dried on raised beds for 21–30 days.
