Production remains modest, but the quality is consistently exceptional. As we enter the sixth year of our relationship, we’re proud to say that each season we have purchased the entire harvest from Maria and Mario’s farm. During the 2024 harvest, Mark and Ryan had the chance to visit El Guayabal and spend time with Maria and Mario. Moments like these are increasingly rare in today’s sourcing landscape, yet when they do occur, they offer a remarkable opportunity to deepen our understanding of where these coffees originate. Maria’s 2025 lot is the definition of sophistication and elegance—floral‑forward with a refined, layered finish. It tells a vivid story of its place of origin and reflects the dedication Maria and Mario bring to cultivating and processing their coffees. It also provides a beautiful counterpoint to our upcoming filter releases, offering a glimpse into the diverse and expressive flavour profiles emerging from this region each year.
