IllumiNate is a changing light roastLight roastRoasted just past first crack to preserve origin character: higher acidity, florals, and fruit, lighter body. The signature of Nordic-style roasting. showcasing the unique tastes when we lighten some of our standard roasts or bring in special seasonal offerings. This edition of IllumiNate comes from Honduras San Vicente and is an easy-drinking coffee that has vanilla sweetness combined with subtle stone fruit notes and a zing of zesty citrus. It is grown at a relatively high altitude of 1650m and is a fully washedWashed processThe fruit is removed from the seed before drying, usually with fermentation and a water rinse. Tends to give clean, transparent cups where origin character shows clearly. coffee for a bright and clean taste. This coffee is an excellent representation of the high quality coffees coming out of Honduras these days! Roast: Light What Grind Should I Use? You can have your Nate’s Coffee order ground to your preferred brewing method before shipping! Whole Bean: Whole bean coffee. Ideal if you prefer the freshest coffee experience and use a grinder at home. We recommend using a burr grinder . Coarse: A coarse, sea salt like grind. Great for french presses and percolators. Drip : A medium grind, consistency of sand. This is the most standard grind. Ideal for most drip coffee makers (like Mr. Coffee) and Clever brewers. Pour over: A medium-fine grind, in between drip and espresso grind. Great for pour overs and Chemex. Espresso: Little less fine than table salt, great for espresso. What if I use an Aeropress?
