Regina is a younger producer who is part of a new project we are working on in one of our favorite regions of Colombia: Nariño. This lot is the first Pink BourbonBourbonOne of the two foundational arabica varieties (with Typica), named after Île Bourbon (Réunion). Sweet, balanced, caramel-leaning; parent of countless modern cultivars. we have been able to bring in from the region. In the cup we find a lively citrus acidityAcidityThe bright, lively, fruit-like sensation in coffee — praise, not a flaw. Citric sparkle, malic apple-crispness, tartaric wine notes; light roasts preserve more of it., Rainier cherry, and raspberry.
