David Berrio's farm is by far the most remote site we've worked with in Urrao. La Casita is a very small 1.5 hectare (3.7 acre) garden, and sits at extreme elevation. In the cup we find a lively acidityAcidityThe bright, lively, fruit-like sensation in coffee — praise, not a flaw. Citric sparkle, malic apple-crispness, tartaric wine notes; light roasts preserve more of it., with ripe peach, and berry-like complexity.
