Introducing a beautiful washedWashed processThe fruit is removed from the seed before drying, usually with fermentation and a water rinse. Tends to give clean, transparent cups where origin character shows clearly. Tabi from El Recreo! Diego and Fernando have been producing coffee for a long time, however most of that was solely commodity coffee. It was only in the last few years that they started producing specialty coffee on their farm in Santa Barbara. Their primary business was the production of fertilizer, however around five years ago they decided to invest in and plant a number of coffee varietals to expand their offering and produce high-quality, specialty grade lots.
