As one of a number of talented producers that contributes to our year-round Divino Nino Foundational offering, we were delighted when producer Edernoman Toledo Charry won second place in the central region of the Copa De Oro competition with this outstanding pink bourbonBourbonOne of the two foundational arabica varieties (with Typica), named after Île Bourbon (Réunion). During a recent visit with partners in Suaza, Huila, we continued conversations with Edernoman and his son Yoan, who has also emerged as a distinguished coffee producer in recent years, and we look forward to sharing more outstanding coffees from this father-son duo in the near future. This coffee will feel familiar to fans of Kenyan flavor profiles, offering deep molasses sweetness, currant jam, citrus zest, and subtle tropical notes of mango and grilled pineapple.
